THE DEVELOPMENT, known as APEX, will consist five high-spec buildings ranging from 29,418 ft2 to 142,180 ft2 and ready to occupy from Summer 2025. The scheme could create up to 500 new jobs.

APEX is located on one of the Midland’s key industrial corridors, with motorway access from J28 and J29 of the M1 motorway and each of the buildings is designed with sustainability in mind.

According to the marketing brochures the buildings will target BREEAM Very good/Excellent and an EPC A rating. Eaves height will rnage from 10 – 15m with 50kn/m2 floor loadings. There is a 4MvA power load allocated to the site.

HBD Head of Industrial and Logistics Vivienne Clements, said: “Supply of high-spec industrial stock coming forward remains low across key industrial corridors in the Midlands – we’ll be looking to bring space forward quickly to meet established demand, we expect to see strong interest from potential occupiers.”

Joint agents for APEX are FHP, CPP and M1 Agency.
