Developer HBD, part of Henry Boot, has secured planning consent for two new warehouses totalling 77,000 ft2 at its 370,5000 ft2 Airport Business Park Southend (ABPS).

THE TWO units – a 16,451sq ft stand alone warehouse and 61,000 ft2 building of terraced units – are available on either a freehold or pre-let basis, with construction expected to begin in 2027.
HBD Managing Director Hamer Boot said: “We continue to see strong demand for high-quality industrial space at Airport Business Park Southend, so it’s positive to be able to deliver an additional 77,000 ft2. We’re pleased to be able to extend the scheme further, attracting new investment, supporting business growth and creating new jobs.”
The core warehouse units across both schemes will be accompanied by office and amenity space, while a landscaped outdoor area will help to integrate the site into the green corridor that runs through the park. Tables and benches will offer a place for people to relax, eat lunch and socialise
Joint agents are Dedman Gray, Kemsley and Cushman & Wakefield.
