THE PLANS envision up to 1.2 million ft2 of industrial and logistics employment space alongside the creation amenity spaces sitting in landscaped grounds. The development will target BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings and will include roof top solar, EV parking and public cycle ways.

The plans have been shaped by working closely with Luton Council and a consultation process with local residents, businesses and community organisations, which was run by Goodman last autumn.

Following a detailed economic impact assessment, it is estimated the regeneration will create approximately 2,400 jobs. The plans represent an investment by Goodman in excess of £400 million and will contribute almost £160 million each year to the local economy.

Subject to approval, Goodman expects construction to start in 2027, with the first new businesses able to occupy the site in 2028..
