Sprinklers key
Fire officers say sprinklers were key to limiting the spread of a major fire, which is thought to have been started deliberately, at the ASOS warehouse near Barnsley. The fire is estimated to have caused millions of pounds worth of damage in lost stock.
RTITB legal action
RTITB took legal action against a trainer, Mark Johnson, over Driver CPC discrepancies. Mr Johnson ran Periodic Training on behalf of RTITB and failed to upload the drivers’ hours or issue certificates as proof of attendance.

Warehouse fire
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service tackled a fire in part of a conveyor system in a warehouse at Gladstone Dock, Bootle on Friday, July 4. The fire was extinguished by 5.00 in the afternoon and no one was hurt.
