Clipper Logistics has been awarded a 5-year contract extension with Tesco. In addition to Clipper’s existing e-fulfilment solutions for the retailer, the deal is to include the development of additional services to support the growth of their online clothing business.

Shortlist revealed
The nine individuals and two companies in the running for awards at the Women in Logistics annual conference and awards have been unveiled. The winners will be honoured at a glittering ceremony in Warwickshire on the evening of Friday June 27, in the company of the judges Professor Richard Wilding and Ruth Waring, and special guest Mrs Beverley Bell, the UK’s first female traffic commissioner.
Health & safety winners
The winners of the FSDF’s 2014 Health and Safety Awards have been announced, acknowledging the excellent contributions made by individuals and companies in this field. 
40 new trucks
Harsco Infrastructure UK, an access, formwork and industrial maintenance service provider, has called on the expertise of Impact Handling to update its complete forklift truck fleet, taking delivery of more than 40 new Cat lift trucks in a single order.
UKWA
The finalists for each category in this year’s UKWA Awards for Warehousing have been announced. The overall winner of each category will be announced at the UKWA’s Awards for Warehousing Ceremony which takes place at London’s Dorchester Hotel on Wednesday July 2nd. The event commences at 12 noon with a Gala Reception in the Opal Suite of the Dorchester followed by a 3-course luncheon. The day’s events finish between 3.45 and 4.00pm.
