THE REDEVELOPMENT secured planning in April 2023. The scheme comprises eight new, double-height industrial units have ranging in size from 675 – 950 sq ft, on Bean Road in Coseley.
Hortons acquired the 750,000 ft2 mixed use industrial estate in 2022 for more than £11.25 million and have been actively managing and refurbishing and redeveloping the estate ever since.
The developer recently launched more than 88,500 ft2 of refurbished industrial/warehouse and manufacturing space on the same site.
Jeremy Boothroyd of Hortons said: “The redevelopment of Wellington House has brought new life to a vacant building in a sought-after industrial location.
“We’ve delivered sustainable, double-height units which will help meet local demand for high-quality space.
“This project is part of our wider investment in Wellington Industrial Estate, where we’re also offering larger, refurbished units, to suit a range of occupier needs.”
A selection of units are currently available to let at Wellington Industrial Estate from 15,000-40,000 sq ft. Joint agents are Bulleys, Sellers and Harris Lamb.
