Parcel delivery firm snaps up Barnsley warehouse
Parcel delivery firm EVRI has taken Arrow Capital Partners’ 266,044 ft2 warehouse at its Arrow Point Barnsley development in South Yorkshire.

THE EVRI unit, known as Arrow 265, has 250,686 ft2 of warehouse space with 15m eaves, 26 dock and two level access doors, served by an 55m yard with parking for 61 HGVs. There is 13.314 ft2 of two storey Grade A office space and a separate 2,044 ft2 hub office. The whole facility benefits from a power capacity of 2.7 MVA
The net-zero embodied carbon development incorporates extensive sustainability features, including air source heat pump technology, electric vehicle charging points and ‘solar ready’ roofs, and has achieved an EPC rating of ‘A’ and a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification
Arrow Point Barnsley is located next to Junction 36 of the M1 motorway and is in close proximity to the M62, M18 and A1 motorways,
The whole scheme is now fully let following the earlier completion of a 186,000 ft2 lease to Gem Imports.

Significant leases signed last year included a 580,000 ft2 pre-let to Kion Group-owned BlackForxx GmbH at the speculatively developed Arrow Point Bremen in Germany; a 220,000 ft2 lease in Breda, the Netherlands, to Vinted Go B.V; and a 130,000 ft 2pre-lease to Product Care Trading in Daventry, the UK.
Arrow was advised by CBRE and CMS while Evri was advised by LSH and Schofield Sweeney.
