THE PROPOSALS for the 328,776 ft2 Grade A industrial unit came about after the joint venture successfully secured an additional 8-acre plot adjacent to an existing 8 acre plot they already owned as reported in Logistics Matters in May this year. https://www.logisticsmatters.co.uk/Doublesized-heralds-big-unit

The new building to be known as Northampton 330 will be developed to BREEAM Excellent and EPC A rating. It will have 15m eaves, a 50kn/ft2 floor loading, 30 dock and four level access doors

It is expected to deliver over 350 direct full-time jobs, an ecological net gain of over 10% and generate a total economic benefit of £890m over the life of the scheme.

Subject to planning the building could be available for occupation in 2026 on a build to suit or speculative basis and is available on both a leasehold and rare freehold basis.

Joint agents are Drake & Partners or Knight Frank.
