Report: Liverpool among ports with highest container dwell times
VISIBILITY SOFTWARE provider Beacon carried out the report, which highlights container dwell at 64 of the world’s leading ports.
Ports with the highest average monthly container dwell time (from January-June 2023), included Liverpool with 7 days. The highest was Kingston, Jamaica at 9.1 days.
Data revealed that Colombo, Sri Lanka had the lowest average monthly dwell time at 1.8 days.
Algeciras (Spain) had the lowest monthly dwell time of any port across the period at 1 day in April; Liverpool (UK) had the highest at 17.4 days in January.
