Second deal in as many weeks at Horizon 29 scheme in Derbyshire
Fire door manufacturer and distributor Solidcor has taken a warehouse at BentallGreenOak and its development partner, Equation Properties’ Horizon 29 industrial and logistics scheme near Bolsover, Derbyshire, East Midlands – the second deal on the scheme in as many weeks.

THE COMPANY has taken Unit 1, a 73,239ft2 unit on the 1.1million ft development. The new facility is to support ambitious new expansion plans for the business and will become its UK Headquarters.
The property built on Phase 1 of the scheme boasts 69,751 ft2 of warehsoue space with 10m eaves, six dock and two level access doors served by a 50m yard with parking for 22 HGVs. It has 3,488 ft2 of two storey Grade A office space and has a power supply of 450KvA.
Following the two most recent deals, five buildings comprising 716,000 ft2 are now occupied and only two buildings remain: Unit 5 (137,206 ft2) and Unit 7 (252,056 ft2).
McLaren Construction has delivered the scheme to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and EPC A ratings.
BGO and Equation acquired the 80-acre site located adjacent to Junction 29A of the M1 and Markham Vale in 2022 for £39.9 million.
