THE COMPANY has signed a 10–year lease for Unit B 200 Scotia Road totalling 42,030 ft2. It will be used to support the company’s expansion.
Harris Lamb’s Mike Burr,, joint agent on the property, said: “Since being instructed on this development last year, we’ve had a great deal of interest in 200 Scotia Road due to the calibre of the refit, its excellent strategic location and the flexibility of the opportunities at the site.
“Jarrobs was looking for additional premises to its existing site in Alsager and, Unit B, which has a three-phase power supply, a loading slab capacity of 50 k/m2, an eaves height of 5.3-7m and four level loading doors, met its operational requirements. The unit shares a rear loading area and benefits from on-site parking as well as its close proximity to the motorway network.
“We quickly agreed terms, and the business is now in the process of locating to the building.”
The property had been marketed with a rent of £3.25 per ft2 prior to its refurbishment in 2023. Unit A, a 41,920 ft2 warehouse refurbished to the same specification as Unit B, is still available.
