South coast warehouse let

Specialist manufacturer of fire detection and alarm devices Apollo Fire, has taken the 40,429 ft2 Unit Three at XLB and Aimco’s 680,000 ft2 Langstone Park, Havant, on a 10-year lease.

THE PROPERTY is one of four built on the first phase of the 40-acre park ranging between 20,100 – 40,244 ft2. It has 35,101 ft2 of warehouse space alongside 5,124 ft2 of Grade A office space. The warehouse boasts 10.5m eaves, 5 loading doors, a 50kn/2 floor loading and 75 parking spaces.

All four units have targeted BREEAM Excellent with an EPC A+ rating, generating more energy from renewable sources than is consumed within the units on an annual basis.

The site, once home to IBM who manufactured computers there in the early 70s, is currently being redeveloped on a phased basis. Unit 2 has been let to a global biotechnology company on a 10 year term
