THE ACQUISITIVE 3PL has taken a 15 year lease on Barwood Capital’s 362,289 ft2 Nottingham 360 warehouse on Firth Way, Nottingham. The company has been on a leasing spree this year taking Evans Property Group’s 206,161 ft2 Link 205 warehouse at Fradley Park, and pre-letting Indurent and PLP’s 644,900 ft2 M1XL warehouse for a contract with SHEIN. It is believed the company has other requirements in the market.
Developed by Barwood Capital’s Regional Property Growth Fund IV, Nottingham 360 is strategically located just five minutes from Junction 26 of the M1 motorway and comprises 329,415 ft2 of warehouse space with 15m eaves and 30 dock and three level access doors served by 50m yard with parking for 53 HGVs. It has 32,874 ft2 of office space. It has been built to target BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating. The development also achieved net zero in construction and has been designed to enable net zero operation.
Nottingham 360 will provide expansion for Super Smart Service Limited as it supports the company’s ongoing organic growth in the UK, strengthening its fulfilment and logistics operations and expanding capacity across its distribution network.
Super Smart Service’s Michael Cheng, said: “Nottingham 360 represents an important addition to our UK logistics network and will provide the capacity we need to support our continued growth. The building’s scale, strategic location and excellent connectivity make it an ideal fit for our operational requirements, enabling us to further enhance our fulfilment and distribution capabilities across the UK.
Development partner was Premcor Estates and the facility was delivered by Winvic as the main contractor and C4 Projects as project manager. APEX Real Estate Advisors, Commercial Property Partners and Savills all acted as retained agents for the scheme.
