Swift Valley industrial site to be redeveloped as midbox scheme

A 7.4-acre former warehouse site on Swift Valley Industrial Estate in Rugby is set to be redeveloped as a midbox warehouse scheme by Newlands Developments.

THE DEVELOPER has submitted proposals for a high quality, sustainable development, delivering new warehouse facilities on the site of the former Lumonics 115,088 ft2 facility which was recently demolished.

Newlands  intends  to bring forward a six unit scheme in four buildings with Unit 1 split into 3 terrace facilities of 12,645 ft2, 14,713ft2 and 17,59817 and with Unit 2 totalling 21,105, Unit 3 61,115 ft2 and finally Unit 4 totalling 39,864 ft2. All the properties will be constructed to target BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating and benefit from level access  doors with the largest unit boasting four dock and two level access doors. Eaves heights will rnage from 8 – 12m clear internal.

The new scheme will be accessed from both Cosford Lane and Valley Drive off Brownsover Road, with the nearby A426 connecting it to the M6 to the north.
