Temperature controlled warehouse for JD.com
JD.com continues with its warehouse take-up spree by snapping up a 150,000 ft2 temperature controlled facility in Bedford.

THE COMPANY has taken a 10 0year lease on Kirklington Property Developments’ 150,000 ft2 Unit 1B Progress Park facility which has recently been refurbished.
The deal follows hot on the heels of a previous 116,000 ft2 letting to online pert food supplier Viovet.
JD.com will use the unit for its specialist temperature controlled operation as it increases its presence across the region following the earlier acquisition of 530,000 ft2 at PLP Milton Keynes in 2025 and 277,000 ft2 at Dunstable in late 2024
Adroit Real Estate Advisors acted for the landlord while Collier advised JD.com
Adroit Real Estate Director Lloyd Spencer, said: “Both JD.com and Viovet are new to Bedford, which continues to attract major occupiers thanks to its strategic location on the A421, midway between the M1 and A1 corridors, making it ideally located to service the South-East of England.”
