Urban warehouse scheme for Brentford
The L&G Managed Fund has won planning consent for an 88,000 ft2 urban warehouse scheme at West Cross Industrial Estate in Brentford in the London Borough of Hounslow.

THE FACILITY will be built carbon net zero and target BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating. It will feature a PV rood array as well as 25% EV parking provision with infrastructure provision for a further 56% of spaces.
The building makes up Phase 2 of the site and will be built speculatively. It is due to reach practical completion next year. L&G acquired West VCross Industrial esatet from SEGROin 2013 for £75 million.
L&G Asset Management fund manager, Managed Fund Rob Codling, said: “The site represents a rare and exciting redevelopment opportunity in a highly sought after location and fits with the fund’s strategy to hold best in class industrial assets with strong sustainability credentials.”
