Zero carbon rated development completed
Developer HBD, part of Henry Boot, and investors Barings have completed their landmark 380,000 ft2 net zero carbon industrial development in Rainham, London.

KNOWN AS Momentum, the scheme on a 20.5-acre site comprises four units ranging from 41,000 ft2 to 171,000 ft2 built to carbon net zero with BREEAM Excellent and EPC A+ scores.
Designed to minimise energy consumption, the scheme includes a range of sustainability features including solar panels, EV and passive fleet charging coupled with state-of-the-art intelligent building systems.
The BREEAM Excellent, carbon-neutral development is a joint venture partnership between HBD and Barings, on behalf of its second European real estate value add fund (BREEVA II).
