A freezing chamber with mobile bases for meat processing company
ICP (International Casing Products S.L.U.) optimises its facilities in Zaragoza (Spain) with the AR Racking storage system, which provided the specialist offal and natural casing company with a mobile bases racking solution for its freezing chamber.
TO FULLY optimise the space required, shorten turnaround times and reduce delivery costs, ICP entrusted AR Racking with fitting out its freezing chamber. In response to the company’s compaction and high-density storage needs, AR Racking designed and installed a mobile pallet racking solution.
The project, which was completed in 7 weeks, gave ICP a 1,216 sq m warehouse with capacity for 2,890 europallets of 1,200 kilos. The racking is mounted on chassis or mobile bases guided on rails fixed to the floor that enable the displacement of the racks to one side and the other on the rails to open a single access aisle for the goods transported by the forklift. It is also an optimal solution for freezing storage at -24ºC required by ICP’s products due to the total reduced volume to cool.
