Barrel lifting attachment

The barrel lifting attachment from Packline materials Handling has been designed to provide the safe and easy lifting and controlled movement of barrels.

This handling solution is designed to lift kegs of beer in the horizontal from the floor or a pallet up to and onto a storage frame. This stainless-steel handling equipment, with electric lift, replaces an un-hygienic manual mechanism.

The barrel is securely retained by a lug and cantilever arrangement which locates into the rim and supports the end of the barrel. This feature provides a swift and easy docking that provides safe, reliable transportation. This design allows kegs with a central tap hole to be lifted.

The ‘Compac’ lifting machine raises and lowers the barrel by powered drive and this is operated by simple up and down buttons which are located ergonomically on the machine's handle bars.

The design offers strength and durability with ease of operating and is suitable for the beverages and food industries and other hygienic applications as the solution is manufactured in stainless steel.

The attachment is backed up by a full bespoke design service ensuring the right solution can be made to suit any make or size of barrel. All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fixed or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ lifting machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
