Food and raw materials specialist Best Storage has taken delivery of five CESAB counterbalanced and reach trucks for its warehouse and distribution centre near Wigan.
Best Storage moves an average of 300 to 450 pallets per day and with glass jars among the products handled, minimal damage and high visibility for forklift drivers are key priorities.
After reviewing the Best operation, Merseyside based Global Materials Handling recommended the CESAB M300 range. This features CESAB’s Intelligent Mast Design, with excellent levels of visibility through the mast which means that operators do not need to adjust their position as often or move their head as frequently when positioning the forks.
This enables operators to achieve faster, more accurate materials handling operations and ensures superior comfort during shifts.
Three 2.5 tonne CESAB M325 forklifts are used for loading and offloading operations and transfer to and from the warehouse.
