Diamond Logistics and Zupplychain join forces

Diamond Logistics has joined the Zupplychain network, listing all of the locations of the fast growing courier franchise chain on the market maker’s website.

Diamond Logistics was founded in 1992 by award winning entrepreneur Kate Lester and has grown to 27 sites spread across the country with the most recent opening in Northampton. The business’ model has been heralded in the Mishcon City AM ‘Leap 100’ list of the most exciting and innovation companies in the UK.

Zupplychain launched earlier in the year as a b2b website to match warehouse space with potential user. Warehouses specify their spaces in terms of the number and type of pallet spaces, and users specify the number and type of pallets they have to store and where they want to store them. Zupplychain’s algorithm then matches the two parties and provides a ranked list of warehouse options. The user can then submit enquiries for storage through Zupplychain’s automated communication system.

‘We are exceptionally pleased that a business of Diamond’s size and pedigree has signed up with us,’ commented Zupplychain’s MD, Martin Elgood. ‘Having launched our live search facility recently, we look forward to bringing new business enquiries to all the Diamond sites’

Ali Dolphin, Diamond Logistics’ Marketing Manager commented on the new relationship by saying ‘The warehousing and fulfilment market has witnessed considerable growth in recent years. Diamond’s unique actualwarehouse solution is well catered for this growth and allows clients goods to be stored, picked, packed and distributed; either on a same-day service through Diamond’s network or next day delivery service through a range of different carrier options.

‘Diamond Logistics looks forward to working with Zupplychain and offering fulfilment solutions to their growing client base’, added Diamond founder, Kate Lester.
