Easing supervision of sensitive goods

T&D Corporation has released the RTR-500MBS-A mobile base station with 3G standard.

As part of the wireless RTR-500 data logger family, the device enables automatic downloading of recorded data and monitoring of current readings during transportation and from locations where LAN connections are impossible.

The RTR 500MBS-A simultaneously supports up to 20 remote units, covering parameters such as °C, RH%, mA, V, Pulse, UV, Illuminance and CO2. It automatically forwards current readings and recorded data to T&D’s cloud, the WebStorage Service. Users can access, store and share important data independent of time or location with any browser or via T&D’s Service Viewer app. 20MB free of charge storage capacity allows data to be saved in clearly arranged tables and graphs, and files are automatically zipped before this space is exceeded. To safeguard goods, alert settings, including automatic notifications by SMS and e-mail, send warnings if readings suggest that damage is likely to occur.

The company says: “The base station’s GPS function makes it easy to track data such as temperature and humidity measurements from anywhere and at any time – even during transportation and in out of the way locations – without having to make investments in manpower. Versatile combinations of any or all of the devices in the RTR-500 family permit tailor-made monitoring solutions for individual needs.”
