Easy pickings for food company
Voiteq, global providers of voice-directed work solutions, has improved operational performance at Queenswood Natural Foods with voice-enabling the company’s order picking process at its distribution centre in Bridgwater, Somerset and Sherborne, Dorset.
The solution is being used across all of its picking chambers including ambient, chilled and frozen and has been successfully in place since February 2016.
Voiteq was highly recommended to Queenswood Natural Foods and using Voiteq’s VoiceMan Warehouse Execution System (WES), they were able to connect its Lady Lodge warehouse management system (WMS) to voice with ease.
Queenswood Natural Foods has implemented Voiteq’s business intelligence suite to obtain real-time operational visibility as well as historical dashboard reporting and predictive analytics for future planning.
Alex Sewell, store manager at Queenswood Natural Foods, said: “Since we implemented the Voiteq system at the start of the year, our pick accuracy has improved to 99% and our operations is now a lot more transparent.”
