Export boost for Hart Doors

Hart Door Systems, the Newcastle-based specialist engineering company, has won multi-door orders for export to Russia, Hong Kong and Kuwait.

The contracts, which cover a range of Hart Doors’ commercial doors, are welcomed by the company’s managing director, Nick Hart, as: “very welcome and a boost for the hard-working team.”

He said: “There is uncertainty in the air due to COVID-19 but despite that we have worked hard on all management aspects of the business to be inclusive and proactive. “The team spirit is tremendous. We are determined to take every opportunity available to us.”

The contracts include Hart’s high-speed Speedor Storms and swing gates for Hitachi Zosen Inova, Moscow, which will be installed on a major Energy from Waste plant, and a large order for fire shutters for a Beumer contract at Kuwait Airport.

In addition Hart is supplying shutters for the Hong Kong Central Government Office, as well as for the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

“Together these contracts bring substantial work to Tyneside and there is more to come,” added Mr Hart.

Hart is an experienced exporter with, for example, many of its products installed at nearly 40 international airports from Vladivostok and Taskent to the Seychelles, the Falklands and Viracopos/Campinas International Airport, Campinas, São Paulo State, Brazil.
