Fashion group selects Nomagic robots
S.OLIVER GROUP is introducing AI-powered robotic automation to automate shoebox induction at its logistics site in Dettelbach, Germany.

THE SOLUTION automates induction for a broad range of fashion items, including shoeboxes, to improve process efficiency, reduce repetitive manual handling and create a more scalable set-up for future volume growth.
Central to the project is Nomagic’s Shoebox Picker, designed to extend robotic automation to a product category that general-purpose robotic picking has traditionally been unable to handle. Combining AI-based perception with flexible robotic manipulation, it allows S.OLIVER GROUP to automate a wider share of its fashion assortment in a single operational flow.
Markus Steinmann, managing director logistics at S.OLIVER GROUP, said: “We see significant potential, particularly in repetitive logistics processes, to further enhance efficiency, flexibility, and operational excellence while preparing our logistics network for future growth.”
