Foodservice firm revamps box supply
The move allowed Bagel Nash to remove extra space it was renting.
The company has been a customer of Samuel Grant Group for many years, purchasing consumables such as printed poly propylene sheers, polythene liners and printed tissue.
In order to obtain the most reasonable price from the manufacturers of their product boxes, Bagel Nash had to purchase significant quantities. They needed to hold large stocks, not only to get the best price, but also to be able to draw upon at short notice if required. In order to accommodate this stock, they rented a warehouse next door to their premises.
After consulting with the company and conducting an analysis of the operation, Samuel Grant realised that it could solve the problem.
"We negotiated with them that we would produce, stock and hold their boxes, drip feeding them as required, sometimes at very short notice. This gave them the opportunity to get instant stock at good prices, and removed the need to rent extra space," Samuel Grant explains.
As the company grew it was able to move to bigger premises, again Samuel Grant helped by holding its bulky products.
The company continues: "We are flexible with their stock requirements and provide them as and when they need it, sometimes with immediate requirement. Our prices are extremely competitive and they always know what they are getting. They have a dedicated account handler who is always able to liaise with them about any further requirements, freeing them up to build their business, which is after all what matters.
"Not only that, but with no capital outlay and with all the servicing and maintenance done by ourselves, we have just installed our revolutionary Samson Nano pallet wrapper into Bagel Nash. The story continues as they start to benefit from cutting edge technology, whilst paying a clear price per pallet wrapped, and nothing else.
