Fowler Welch clinches two wins for Heywood DC

Fresh Marketing and Belvoir Fruit Farms have joined the customer portfolio at Fowler Welch’s ambient flagship in Heywood, Greater Manchester. Both businesses have come on board with Fowler Welch in ongoing contracts, beginning in March.

Fresh Marketing, the creator of FUEL10K protein breakfasts and the IAM SUPER FOODS range of soups, beans and grains, will be using a number of Fowler Welch’s services including case picking, storage, distribution and co-packing. The on-going project will see around 1.4 million cases per year picked and distributed to over 200 UK-wide destinations.

Steve Wright, sales manager at Fowler Welch explains: “Fresh Marketing is an innovative and growing company that shares many of the same goals that we do at Fowler Welch and from our point of view it’s going to be a pleasure to see that grow. We have already seen evidence of this with eight new lines being added to Fresh Marketing’s portfolio within the first six weeks of our contract, so we look forward to working with them to provide the best quality service they need to continue this success.”

Jason Kerr at Fresh Marketing adds: “We chose to work with Fowler Welch as they listened to our brief and responded with a competitive service offering that met our needs. We were particularly attracted to the fact that all of our services can be managed under one roof. So far we have received an excellent service and look forward to collaborating with Fowler Welch as our business grows.”

Natural cordial producers Belvoir Fruit Farms has signed with Fowler Welch to store, pick and distribute its range of drinks for Morrisons on an ongoing contract. Fowler Welch will be working in collaboration with Belvoir and Morrisons, delivering more volume of around 80,000 cases a year, through Morrisons’ network.

Michelle Johnson at Belvoir says: “Fowler Welch has listened to our needs and delivered an efficient and reliable service that allows us to be confident that we can deliver to Morrisons as and when they need, in-full and on-time.”
