High-strength adjustable forklift hook deployed

Contact Attachments has showcased the versatility of its forklift attachments after providing a family-run formwork contractor with a more effective solution to moving heavy goods.

The company provided its high-strength Adjustable Forklift Hook to Murform to help remove the pressures of transporting its products – ranging from formwork, rebar and concrete – around its site by clamping on to its existing forklift.

Rob Ashman, purchasing manager at Murform, explained: “We were really pleased with the Adjustable Forklift Hook when it arrived at our site – it was a high-quality product which was available at a very competitive rate. It clipped easily onto our forklift and could be positioned anywhere on the length of the fork, meaning larger, longer and different products could be fastened on and lifted just as easily.”

The forklift hook can be adjusted to suit a position anywhere along the length of the forklift fork, therefore giving you more flexibility when it comes to handling loads of different sizes or where there are different reach requirements.

“Customer service from the team at Contact Attachments was second-to-none,” Rob added. “The product was delivered on time and looked exactly how it did on the website. We’d recommend their services to anyone interested in streamlining their business operations, and we look forward to working with them again in the near future.”

The lightweight Adjustable Forklift Hook also comes with a shackle and two large ‘T’ screws, enabling it to be tightened and secured to the underside of the forklift for optimum stability and safety. Five different models are available with varying weight loads, from FMHA-1.0 which can handle a capacity of 1,000kg, to the FMHA-5.0 model, able to handle 5,000kg.
