Key LSP appoints solutions division leader
Martin Davies joins as operations director of EV Cargo Solutions.
THE FIRM provides managed transport and contract logistics services across BWS, Home, Beverage, Paper & Packaging, Retail and Industrial sectors.
Martin Davies takes the newly created role of operations director as the company builds on progress in implementing its strategic transformation.
Davies will oversee all key operational activities, including managed transportation, fleet performance, carrier management, contract logistics as well as health and safety.
Davies brings extensive experience as the former commercial and operations director of Fowler Welch, where he successfully helped the company achieve consistent year-on-year EBITDA growth over 10 years.

EV Cargo Solutions uses a hybrid resource model, combining fixed capacity and a base of selected third-party carrier partners.
The company has an approximately 1,000 person-strong workforce, supported by a comprehensive operational infrastructure including 200 fleet units, 850 trailers, and approximately 1 million square feet of warehouse space across six strategic locations with 120,000 racked locations.
