Kite Packaging acquires facility

The building will be completely refurbished, and will see the eventual relocation of Kite’s Harlow-based team into the new premises.

Kite Packaging, one of the UK’s leading distributors of packaging, has 7 sites located across the country. The new Letchworth property, which was previously occupied by the 600 Group, is significantly bigger than the current Harlow branch and is an investment by the company in its continued drive to provide a first class service to its expanding customer base.

The new 29,000 sq ft facility on a circa 2-acre plot consists of a warehouse, ground floor offices, first floor offices and large parking facilities. A two month building and refurbishment project on the newly acquired property has already begun.

The newest Kite Packaging building is in a prominent position within an established estate, located in Letchworth Garden City. The property is situated on Avenue One which is connected to the B656 providing access to the A505 and A1 (M). The location is ideal for Kite in servicing its North London based customers, right up to Cambridgeshire.
