Lifting barrels and drums

This clamp attachment has been designed to suit the lifting and rotation of barrels, drums or any cylindrical, tapered items.

The two tapered pads swivel about their mid-point which ensures the best possible contact with the container.

The attachment has two handwheels, the first provides the easy grip and release action of the vessel which are secured by the external diameter. The mechanism is fitted with a torque limiter so that the gripping pads do not over or under tighten.

The second handwheel provides 360° non-stop rotation which assists the operator when filling, emptying and cleaning. The self-locking gearbox means that the load can be securely held at any angle desired.

The combination of these handwheels provide easy operation and precise control and enables the operator to lift and the containers safely with complete confidence.

The clamp attachment is suitable for the food industry and other hygienic applications and features FDA approved nitrile rubber pads.

The attachment is backed up by a full bespoke design service so ensuring that the right solution can be made to suit most applications.

All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fitted or removed from any model of Compac lifting machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
