Lighter side of hazardous handling
RPC Emballages Moirans has launched the first UN certified 20 litre container to weigh just 700g.
The new 320 range, blow moulded in HDPE, is part of an ongoing enhancement programme at the site which over the years has seen the weight of its 20 litre UN container reduced from 900g to first 800g and now 700g.
As well as minimising material usage, the lighter container can help to reduce transport costs, both of which offer important sustainability benefits to help companies reduce their carbon footprints. The ergonomic design is also easy to handle while a range of decoration options is available for individual branding.
