Loading bay solution at the heart of Proxima Park

Housing 42,282 sq ft of speculative industrial / warehouse space, Proxima Park, Waterlooville, Unit 320, was recently completed by Magrock Ltd. The development features ASSA ABLOY’s industrial door and dock leveller solutions.

This development is just 2 miles from the A3(M) Junction 3, offering superb access to the main route from London to Portsmouth.

On the same elevation sits 3x OH1042P level access loading doors and 2x docking bays each supplied with DARP vision panels. These vision panels allow natural light into the building and enable operatives to scan the yard for incoming vehicles.

At the heart of goods in and out of the property are the two loading dock bays, which features the ASSA ABLOY DL6120T dock leveller. These hydraulic telescopic-lip dock levellers have a 1000 mm telescopic lip, which provides a greater range of fleet versatility and a larger contact area between the vehicle bed and the dock leveller. The lip is precisely positioned on the vehicle bed for optimal load utilisation and improved safety.

Safety is always a key consideration when supplying our loading dock solutions, with the client opting for a number of safety accessories including heavy duty nylon buffers, wheel guides and both traffic and docking lights.

As part of the industrial door package, ASSA ABLOY also supplied and installed five steel hinged fire exit doors.
