The retailer chose Geek’s Shelf-To-Person solution to meet increasing demand and uphold its commitment to delivering excellence to customers at the Netherlands DC.

The cutting-edge warehouse in Almere now features more than 150 P800 robots, 30 picking stations, 738 racks and 4 putaway stations. Designed to enhance picking efficiency, storage density, and throughput, the solution supports Hunkemöller’s dynamic inventory needs across more than 750 stores worldwide and a rapidly growing ecommerce service.

Hunkemöller CFO Nick Gresham, says: “We needed a scalable, intelligent automation solution that could support our fast-paced business and expanding product range.

“Geekplus stood out with their proven expertise in retail logistics and innovative, flexible order fulfilment solutions.”

The mobile robots, deployed on a custom-built 4608 sq m mezzanine developed by Anera, bring entire shelves directly to the employees—minimising walking time and maximising efficiency. Ideal for high-SKU fashion operations, the system enables fast,

accurate order fulfillment while supporting Hunkemöller’s retail growth and digital-first strategy.

By streamlining logistics with robotics, Hunkemöller is ensuring every customer interaction—from purchase to delivery—is a seamless and empowering experience.

“We are proud to support Hunkemöller, one of Europe’s leading fashion retailers, in building a future-ready distribution centre,” says Yillian Dong, sales director for the Benelux region at Geekplus.
