New MD for Linde
Linde Material Handling has appointed Max Sammartano to general manager of the Northern Europe and South Africa region, including the UK, Scandinavia and Sub-Saharan Africa markets.
He has succeeded Kerry McDonagh who retires following 10 years’ service.
Mr Sammartano joined KION in July 2010 and transferred to Linde Material Handling in December 2011 where he has held a number of senior management roles, most recently vice president of sales and service marketing and operations.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining Linde Material Handling UK. The strength of our network and the engagement of our people with a strong customer-orientation will help us to reinforce our market leadership position and provide a solid foundation for future success.”
