OSR ShuttleTM Evo: the ultimate shuttle system

The OSR ShuttleTM Evo automated storage and retrieval system from KNAPP forms the heart of many of the company’s solutions.

Designed for optimum performance in terms of speed, durability and availability, OSR ShuttleTM Evo handles various types and sizes of container with ease and features energy recuperation technology. The system requires 20% less footprint and uses only 5% of the energy consumption of a traditional ASRS.

An OSR ShuttleTM Evo store can serve ergonomic workstations from KNAPP’s Pick-it-Easy range or fully automated fulfilment cells featuring the company’s Pick-it-Easy Robot solution. The shuttle storage concept can also be integrated with KNAPP’s Open Shuttle automated mobile robots (AMRs) to connect every location in a distribution centre or production plant in the OSR Shuttle™ Evo+ solution.

Dynamic and sustainable solution

New processes – such as storage, picking, buffering, sequencing or replenishment – can be integrated with ease. With distinctive styling, the OSR ShuttleTM Evo features premium components. It forms a highly dynamic solution that also demonstrates sustainability from product design, through supplier selection, to life cycle management. The solution can also be expanded flexibly in line with a client’s unique investment requirements.

One of the latest installations of OSR ShuttleTM Evo in the UK is an e-commerce warehouse in Pontefract for NEXT plc. This brand-new facility combines the automated storage system with advanced pocket sorter technology to ensure rapid lead times and maximum flexibility.
