Phased implementation

Supplier of Internet IT integration solutions for postal and parcel carriers, NetDespatch has worked with APC Overnight to introduce new standardised label technology throughout its network ahead of the move to a new national sortation centre.

Over 70% of APC labels are produced through the NetDespatch web-based shipping platform. NetDespatch worked with the APC Overnight IT Team to develop a phased implementation that allowed customers to delay the changeover to the new label until they had depleted their existing stationery supply.

In addition it allowed depots time to visit any customers needing assistance and allowed support calls to be spread over a four week changeover period. The first users provided feedback on the design, and because of the flexibility of the web-based platform NetDespatch responded with continuous improvements for both PC and MAC users.
