Plastic container manufacturer chooses robots
The company is optimising intralogistics and increase the efficiency of production processes with three transport robots from the VARIO MOVE series from ek robotics.
TRANSPORT ROBOTS optimise hazardous goods container production and are equipped with counterweights and active hold-down devices, the AGVs transport stacked plastic containers up to 2.8 metres high and weighing as much as 175kg.
With cantilevered fork arms, different pallet types – including Euro, industrial, CP1, and CP3 pallets – can also be picked up crosswise.
The vehicles travel a 100 metre route using laser scanner technology to serve 16 transfer stations. Safety sensors monitor surroundings and detect people and obstacles.
