Plastic RTP rental

RTP specialist PHS Teacrate is urging SMEs to reduce their logistics costs and improve supply chain stability by using returnable transit packaging (RTP) as an alternative to single trip packaging. To ease the capital investment burden on businesses the company offers a rental option for plastic crates and trays.

According to the company, its flexible RTP pool management service can save SMEs on transport costs, storage space and capital outlay during peak periods, such as Christmas, or a downturn when cash flow is tight. Hiring RTP gives smaller companies greater flexibility by optimising – or downsizing – their supplies at critical times.

Re-usable plastic containers can result in reduced product damage, enhanced security and easier handling. Environmental benefits are also claimed over one trip packaging. PHS Teacrate can also incorporate its hygienic RTP washing service into the rental agreement.
