Brewer Mahou San Miguel has tasked AR Racking with the design, manufacture and installation of the high-density racking system for its new logistics platform adjacent to Spain’s largest brewery in Alovera, Guadalajara.

THE CONTRACT is part of the 80 million euros that the brewery has allocated to position its operations at the forefront of technology and consolidates AR Racking as a leading partner in large-scale projects.

The racking supplied by AR Racking will form part of an automated warehouse which will be installed in a 69,000 m² warehouse and will store up to 100,000 beer and water pallets. The facility, which will have 71 automated bays and an elevated walkway of 135 m, will directly connect packaging lines with the warehouse.

The project is also a benchmark for sustainability and regional development. Its compact design reduces internal movement around the warehouse and minimises CO2 emissions. This approach reflects AR Racking’s commitment to sustainability as a differential value and is fully aligned with the environmental strategy of Mahou San Miguel. In turn it revitalises the industrial fabric of the Henares Corridor and consolidates the area as a national strategic logistics hub.

“Our goal is to provide Mahou San Miguel with a ready-made solution for the future: scalable and aligned with its service and sustainability goals”, said Julen Arrillaga, AR Racking project manager. “Thanks to our own engineering and manufacturing in Navarra we guarantee deadlines, quality and timely support throughout the life cycle of the facility”.

With this award, AR Racking strengthens its leadership as a racking supplier in the intralogistics sector and demonstrates, once again, its ability to turn complex challenges into points of reference for operational efficiency.
