Reliability increases productivity
A recently installed Mosca strapping machine at the Portsmouth facility of pharmaceutical wholesaler, Phoenix Healthcare Distribution, is enabling the company to achieve a high level of productivity, strapping around 3300 tote boxes containing pharmaceuticals each day.
Highly reliable, the Mosca ROTRP SoniXs is a fully automatic strapping machine featuring Mosca’s ultrasonic sealing system 4101. Key features include electronic self-calibration and strap end detection with ejection of remaining strap. The fully flexible machine can be integrated into most production lines.
“Since using Mosca machines, we have seen a high reduction in breakdowns and machine faults during production,” explains Dale Ashcroft of Phoenix. “This is vital to our business as it means we can meet our high volume productivity targets, which in turn keeps our customers happy.”
