Smartfreight partners with Segmentify

Posted on Monday 7 September 2020

Shipping software specialist SmartFreight has formed a partnership with Segmentify, an omnichannel personalisation business. This will give online retailers access to a fully integrated parcel delivery solution.

Segmentify helps clients improve conversion rates by utilising machine learning technology to engage with shoppers individually and offers its retailers single point access to over 650 different carriers across the world, including the UK’s top providers such as Royal Mail and DPD.

In addition to a fully integrated shipping solution for eCommerce platforms, such as Magento, Shopify and WooCommerce, brands will also be reinforced via tracking email and portals, along with better reporting and financial controls through invoice reconciliation synchronising sales, payments and warehouse operations.

SmartFreight says the partnership will enhance its already-significant position in the marketplace, while providing Segmentify’s customer base with a carrier choice of the quickest, cheapest or greenest route, that will help improve the overall customer experience. Optimising the shipping process through one channel will positively impact on overall efficiency by eliminating human error, reducing time, duplication and costs on activities like order processing, picking, packing, labelling, shipping and tracking.

SmartFreight and Segmentify will be collaborating on a number of initiatives, which kicked off recently with a podcast including SmartFreight’s Natasha Jones on Segmentify’s eCommerce Growth Show, highlighting to online retailers that streamlining the dispatch operation using the latest shipping integration technology gives businesses a competitive edge, especially when managing high volume deliveries via multiple carriers.

Segmentify’s partnership director, Phill Kay, said: “We’re always on the lookout for quality partnerships within our ecosystem to help our customers stay ahead of the curve, so after the podcast, we thought a next logical step would be to continue working with SmartFreight to further expose to them how they might benefit from an optimised distribution process.”

Hundreds of organisations across the UK and Ireland are already using the SmartFreight platform, particularly suited to e-commerce, distribution and manufacturing businesses for efficient and quick deliveries of goods.
