SSI Schaefer has been working with orthopaedics specialist, Össur UK, to design and install efficient storage and material handling solutions in its new Stockport warehousing facility.
SSI Schaefer has previously designed warehouse systems with Össur in Europe and the wide range of SSI manufactured products enables Össur to store and pick in an appropriate manner.
At the new facility, SSI Schaefer designed a storage a material handling solution based upon Össur’s fast, medium and slow moving items to be picked. This involved the installation of stable, robust, versatile and expandable pallet racking and pallet live storage based on the First-in First-out principle.
