Two new HUBTEX forklifts deliver electric power to the wood industry.
HUBTEX HAS launched two new electric multidirectional sideloaders: the MSL 50 and the MAXX 50. As a leading provider of innovative forklifts and order picking systems, HUBTEX continues to expand its solutions portfolio for timber merchants, sawmills, prefabricated house builders, and many other industries with demanding material handling requirements.
The new MSL 50 is a robust outdoor sideloader with a load capacity of 5 tonnes, equipped with a specially designed SL cabin for long transport distances in outdoor environments. The ergonomic seating position in the direction of travel minimises strain on the driver and provides exceptional comfort over long distances. A low-set front window keeps the route in view at all times, while a large side window offers a clear view of the load. These features make the MSL 50 an excellent choice for companies with expansive outdoor areas.
MAXX 50: 5-tonne model for versatile applications
HUBTEX has also strengthened its portfolio with the introduction of the MAXX 50. This powerful 5-tonne model is engineered for both indoor and outdoor applications, making it ideal for narrow warehouse aisles as well as loading and unloading tasks outside. The MAXX 50 offers increased residual load capacity – a crucial factor when transporting heavy or damp timber. It features an ergonomic cabin, a lift mast precisely matched to its load capacity, and optionally the 360° HX steering for outstanding manoeuvrability.
With a ground clearance of 190 mm and a loadarm height of 535 mm, the MAXX 50 strikes a perfect balance between maximum storage space usage and high flexibility outdoors. The 5-kW electric motors ensure ample power for a variety of terrain, including inclines.
Order picking solutions tailored to the wood industry
HUBTEX also provides tailor-made order picking solutions to meet the unique needs of the wood industry. The KP series combines multidirectional sideloaders with removable platforms, transforming them into versatile order picking vehicles. The MK series is designed for transporting doors and frames, while the EZK platform features a two-mast or scissor lift for high handling performance and dual-sided rack access. All these models can be fitted with VacumaX vacuum suction technology, ensuring safe and gentle handling of sensitive materials.
