The new Combi-MR is a finalist in the FLTA Awards

One of Combilift’s latest models, the Combi-MR, has been selected as a finalist in the safety category of the 2018 FLTA awards.

The Combi-MR is a stand-on multidirectional reach truck (with a sit-down option) with a compact design and small turning radius. This offers extreme manoeuvrability as well as ensuring optimum safety for operators and personnel in confined spaces.

This electric powered, 4-wheeled model features a unique steering function to enable seamless switching of the direction of travel and allows the operator to perform compact turns. The large single drive wheel, fitted with a 400 mm diameter rubber tyre with 360° steering rotation, is positioned at the rear right corner to allow low level entry and exit and is therefore less tiring for the operator when a lot of picking is involved. It also leaves a clear unobstructed path when the truck is in a narrow aisle compared to conventional rear entry and exit on other reach trucks.

The benefits of AC technology in the drive and steering ensure optimum and efficient performance. The rear articulated axle provides maximum traction and a smooth ride for the operator even across uneven surfaces, inside and out. The design of the overhead guard offers excellent visibility of the surrounding area for enhanced safety. With a lift capacity of 2,300kg, the Combi-MR comes with optional lift heights.
