User group finds its voice

Taking on the theme ‘Spread The Word’, delegates heard from customers such as Sainsbury’s, XPO, McCormick & Co, and Amscan; discussing Improving Colleague Morale, Multi-order Picking and Managing International Operations with Voiteq Voice.

The importance of data in the modern supply chain was debated by panellists from Littlehampton Books, Yearsley and Tokema International. Areas such as data integrity and real-time data availability on mobile devices as well as the growing take-up of predictive analytics were discussed. 

Voiteq CEO David Stanhope also outlined possible areas of evolution for voice-directed working, such as vision goggles and machine learning.

Delegates also heard updates on Voiteq’s future roadmap as well as how to get more out of their existing voice installation. The VoiceMan Returns Module was a key highlight as well as hearing from Platinum sponsor Honeywell on The Connected Supply Chain. 

Using its event app – Voiteq IO – delegates could interact with sessions, ask questions, take part in polls and upvote other delegates’ questions in real-time. In addition, Voiteq’s demo zone was bigger than ever before, offering hands-on demos of its own solutions portfolio including VoiceMan Data Analysis and VoiceMan Returns as well as those from sponsors Honeywell, Balea, Cirrus Logistics, EXDS, Neverfail, TCi and Zebra.
