Visibility on Scope 3 emissions
PROJECT44 HAS launched supply chain platform Movement by project44, a platform that is said to offer greater supply chain transparency and collaboration.

The firm says this can help companies track Scope 3 corporate emissions. When building a sustainability strategy, the primary focus is often to reduce emissions linked to in-house, day-to-day operations (Scope 1) and energy generation (Scope 2). However, around 90% of corporate emissions fall into another category – Scope 3. This is where we find all emissions that businesses are indirectly responsible for throughout the value chain, with supply chain accounting for around 60% of total Scope 3 emissions.
“People, organisations and economies depend on the efficient movement of goods around the world, but the past few years have shown how volatile demand capacity is, how difficult it can be for carriers to find the right loads and how unpredictable delivery times are,” said Jett McCandless, founder and CEO, project44. “Movement enables visibility, agility and workflow automation, but most importantly, it fosters collaboration. That is the key. Because together, we can make supply chains work, improve lives and ensure access to the goods the world needs.”
Movement allows teams to manage exceptions, streamline shipment operations, automate manual processes and collaborate to resolve customer issues, from a single platform.
