Warehouse manager finds fit-out answers
Exporta Global and its sister company Anchorpoint Interiors have delivered cost savings and storage efficiencies for ASCO UK as part of its recent warehouse development project.
The international oilfield support services business in Aberdeen required a high-quality refit for a multi-million pound warehouse.
This involved, within a very short timescale, identifying products that were fit for purpose, compatible with its new vertical storage machines and that wouldn’t take up a lot of space.
ASCO UK warehouse manager Jim Bruce says: “Exporta Global and Anchorpoint Interiors provided us with various bespoke solutions which has enabled us to fit out the warehouse to a high standard, manage our storage system much more effectively and they were able to deliver a solution within a couple of weeks, saving us months of delay.
“The foldable F-crate has been ideal for the warehouse as they are very robust and perfect for storing large quantities. There were also massive cost savings as we found them to be up to 80% cheaper compared with other similar products available.”
Launched recently by Exporta Global, the F-crate is a range of fast folding slim crates with capacities ranging from 23 litres to 55 litres. The range includes one of the slimmest crates when folded flat, at a height of 27.7mm, compared to the industry standard crate height at 35mm.
