Warehousing sites sought

Leading supplier of warehousing in the north of England, Onward Holdings is looking for additional units to purchase, or potentially buy land, as part of investment plans aimed at delivering much-needed locations for companies to set up logistics operations in the Yorkshire area.

The Featherstone-based business, which offers a range of warehousing from 126,000ft2 to tiny self-storage units, is looking to expand its portfolio of prime warehousing sites to meet demand as the improving economy is providing impetus for companies to invest in their supply chain facilities.

Yorkshire is seen as a key location for many businesses seeking to move or expand its supply chain in the north of England, but a shortage of suitable industrial space is hindering the logistics property market in one of the UK’s most important economic regions.
