Supply chain innovation award
Kellogg’s has won the IGD Award for Supply Chain Innovation, using Voiteq’s VoiceMan solution. The accolade is for a combined Voice and Intelligent Volumetric Cubing Solution; which is the first of its kind in the industry.
Abzy Shaikh, head of UK & ROI distribution at Kellogg’s, said: “This award marks our commitment to providing the best service possible for our customers, whilst lowering our costs and C02 emissions.
“The new solution now enables us to build pallets with an increased productivity of up to 40% and enables us to maximise pallet height which utilises the best possible truck utilisation; having a positive knock-on effect to our green initiatives.”
